Alaska International Education Foundation (AIEF) is organized as a not for profit corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation strives to achieve Mrs. Scavenius’ goals by sponsoring workshops in Alaska, assisting foreign teachers/students with travel costs to participate in conferences and workshops, sponsoring and supporting programs generally promoting international education, and arranging educational conferences/exchanges between foreign and American students.
(AIEF) considers requests for funding from educational institutions, organizations, and individuals*. AIEF also considers requests for housing at a beautiful and spacious house located in the Turnagain of Anchorage, the residence is close to downtown Anchorage and West High School.
